Delta XD is a precision metrology and engineering consultancy providing aerospace-grade measurement and inspection capability to customers across aerospace, defence, security, energy and transport. Delta XD was founded to address a gap in the market for organisations needing both deep metrology expertise and access to advanced measurement technology, delivered through practical, customer-facing engineering support.

As a ZEISS Certified Metrology Partner, Delta XD combines specialist knowledge with world-class optical systems to deliver precision 3D scanning, inspection, reverse engineering, and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) for structural testing and validation. Services include high-resolution non-contact measurement, digital twin creation, mesh-to-CAD reconstruction, and fixture design and manufacture to enable repeatable, production-ready inspection workflows. 

Delta XD supports customers from early engineering and R&D through to in-service programmes, providing accurate, traceable measurement outputs that reduce rework and improve decision-making. The business operates from Basingstoke and works to AS9100D and NADCAP AC7130/4 quality practices appropriate for high-assurance industries.
